Sobota w pracy, więc najłatwiej mi było zaplanować trening biegowy podczas przerwy na lunch. Oryginalnie ten trening interwałowy był zaplanowany na niedzielę, ale w niedzielę ma być pogorszenie pogody, więc przyspieszyłem go o jeden dzień.

[ENG] A Saturday at work, so it was easiest for me to plan a running workout during my lunch break. Originally, this interval workout was scheduled for Sunday, but since the weather is supposed to worsen on Sunday, I moved it up by a day.

Głównym zadaniem tego treningu było wykonanie czterech serii po 2 minuty w tempie około 5:30 min/km. Okazało się, że moje tempo było bardzo równe, ale znacznie szybsze od założonego – w zakresie 5:01 - 5:10 min/km. Była to kluczowa i najtrudniejsza część treningu, ukierunkowana na poprawę wytrzymałości tempowej i progu beztlenowego. Po interwałach było jeszcze 5 minut schładzania, ale czułem się doskonale, w związku z tym wydłużyłem czas „schładzania” o ponad kwadrans. Lubię takie treningi, kiedy coś się dzieje.

[ENG] The main task of this workout was to complete four sets of 2-minute intervals at a pace of about 5:30 min/km. It turned out that my pace was very consistent but significantly faster than planned – in the range of 5:01 - 5:10 min/km. This was the key and most difficult part of the workout, aimed at improving tempo endurance and anaerobic threshold. After the intervals, there was a 5-minute cooldown scheduled, but I felt great, so I extended the "cooldown" time by more than fifteen minutes. I like workouts like these, where something is happening.
