Nocka odpękana, teraz czas na krótki urlop. Po południu wybrałem się pobiegać – przecież miałem zaległy trening z podbiegami. Najbardziej do tego typu treningów pasuje mi krótka, boczna uliczka nieopodal cmentarza. Jedenaście powtórzeń to było więcej niż zazwyczaj, ale dałem radę.

[ENG] The night shift is done and dusted; now it's time for a short vacation. In the afternoon, I went for a run—after all, I had a make-up hill repeat workout to do. A short side street near the cemetery suits this type of training best for me. Eleven repetitions—that was more than usual, but I pulled it off.

Podczas tego biegu zauważyłem, że w przypadku treningów, które wymagają realizacji konkretnych zadań (w tym przypadku wielu powtórzeń), nie odczuwam tak bardzo zmęczenia związanego z pokonanym dystansem. Dopiero kiedy kończyłem pod blokiem, zorientowałem się, że przebiegłem sporo ponad dziewięć kilometrów. Zwykle, kiedy biegnę spokojnie taki dystans, odczuwam dużo większe zmęczenie.

[ENG] During this run, I noticed that with workouts requiring the completion of specific tasks (in this case, many repetitions), I don't feel the fatigue related to the distance covered nearly as much. It wasn't until I was finishing up near my apartment block that I realized I had run well over nine kilometers. Usually, when I run that distance at an easy, steady pace, I feel much more tired.
