Wczorajszy szybszy akcent sprawił, że mniej niż zwykle obawiałem się interwałów, które wypadały dziś w moim planie. Jak zwykle, gdy mam ściśle określoną liczbę kilometrów do przebiegnięcia, najpierw muszę zastanowić się, którą trasę wybrać. Nie chcę pod koniec kombinować, którędy pobiec, żeby „dobić” do pełnego treningu. Plan zakładał 8 kilometrów biegu, ale do tego musiałem doliczyć dystans marszu między szybkimi odcinkami, dlatego mój wybór padł na trasę do Saint-Symphorien.

[ENG] Yesterday's faster pace session meant that I was less anxious than usual about the intervals scheduled for today. As always, when I have a strictly defined number of kilometers to cover, I first have to consider which route to take. I don't want to be wondering at the end which way to go just to complete the full workout. The plan called for 8 kilometers of running, but I also had to factor in the walking distance between the fast segments, so I chose the route to Saint-Symphorien.

Dzisiejsze interwały to cztery kilometrowe odcinki w tempie 5:15–5:35 min/km. Trzy pierwsze wyszły poniżej 5:20 min/km, a ostatni był nieco wolniejszy. Nie czułem zmęczenia, ale akurat na tym odcinku droga lekko się wznosiła. Długo utrzymywałem tempo w założonych widełkach, dopiero pod sam koniec spadło ono do około 5:45 min/km.

[ENG] Today's intervals consisted of four one-kilometer segments at a pace of 5:15–5:35 min/km. The first three came in under 5:20 min/km, while the last one was a bit slower. I wasn't tired, but the road happened to incline slightly on that stretch. I maintained the target pace for a long time, and only toward the very end did it drop to about 5:45 min/km.

Zupełnie nieświadomie poprawiłem o pół minuty mój najlepszy wynik na segmencie „montée Maigret” – to właśnie ten odcinek pod górkę. Tak duża poprawa wynika z tego, że biegłem tam dopiero trzeci raz i, jak wspomniałem, nie miałem pojęcia o istnieniu segmentu na Strava.

[ENG] Completely unintentionally, I shaved half a minute off my personal best on the "montée Maigret" segment—the uphill section. Such a significant improvement is due to the fact that it was only my third time running there, and as I mentioned, I wasn't even aware there was a Strava segment there.
