Goście cieszą dwa razy: kiedy przyjeżdżają i kiedy w końcu wyjeżdżają. Dziś był ostatni dzień ich pobytu – wieczorem mieli samolot do Polski – ale przecież nie widzieli jeszcze naszego miasta. Tradycyjnie deszcz próbował pokrzyżować nam plany, ale uznaliśmy, że skoro jesteśmy w Belgii, to powinni poczuć ten klimat na własnej skórze. Spacer pod parasolami też może być atrakcyjny. Po wyjściu z kolegiaty św. Waldetrudy (Collégiale Sainte-Waudru) dopisało nam szczęście i przestało padać. Park na wzgórzu przy dzwonnicy (Beffroi de Mons) zachwycał intensywną zielenią. Miasto żyje już przygotowaniami do tegorocznego Doudou.

[ENG] Guests bring joy twice: when they arrive and when they finally leave. Today was the last day of their stay—they had a flight to Poland in the evening—but they hadn't seen our city yet. As usual, the rain tried to thwart our plans, but we figured since we’re in Belgium, they should experience the authentic climate. A walk under umbrellas can be charming, too. After leaving the Collegiate Church of Saint Waltrude (Collégiale Sainte-Waudru), we got lucky and it stopped raining. The park on the hill by the Belfry of Mons was stunning with its vibrant, intense greenery. The city is already buzzing with preparations for this year's Doudou.
