Walked right to the end of the village today, it's a while since I've been that way. Turns out there and back is about 2.67kms or just under 5k steps lol. Never mind, there's always tomorrow.

I'd forgotten how rural it is up there, the end of the road is closed off with a gate. I guess emergency vehicles could get through if they needed to, and cycles can go through a pass at the side (I think it's part of the Viking Trail).
