Dnes jsem byl o něco "hodnější" než včera. Zítra se taky pokusím krotit :-).

Začínají opadávat jedlé kaštany. Jsou ale dost malé a asi nestojí za námahu a "bolest" jejich loupání.

It is a chestnut tree (Castanea sativa Mill.)
It is grown in central Asia and Europe.

Wow, so this is how chestnut looks like? So,apart from Central Asia and Europe, it can't grow somewhere else?

I have no idea where they can be grown. Try walking through your parks and looking for "spiky balls". Maybe you can find them here too.
Otherwise, edible chestnuts are mostly imported from China. They can be roasted for cooking or made into a sauce for dishes
