James Rodriguez has completed a move to a Qatar Club Al Rayyan after several negotiations from both parties, the transfer fee was undisclosed and James is set to begin a new challenge in his career. James Joined Everton in 2020 when Carlo Ancelotti who previously coached him at Real Madrid made an offer to move him to the Goodison Park. Luckily for him, his transfer was a success from the start as he was in a good performance scoring 3 goals in his first five games.

That looks interesting, not until injury set in for him and lost his form totally at the club in his first season. He managed to play a total of 25 games for Everton in the 2020-2021 season. Problem started for him when he lost his place in the team as Carlo Ancelotti left for Real Madrid and the Manager that took over Rafael Benitez made him know that he was never in his plan this season. So a player like James Rodriguez will look for a transfer out of the team.

Al Rayyan sees him as a player who can strengthen their team and they made no hesitation that to go for him. Everton let him go because of his high wages which is estimated to be £10 Million annually which they think its a burden for them and it may likely affect their financial state.
