Trevor Chalobah has made his place in the first team

Trevor Chalobah who spent last season on loan at the French league Lorient, he has an impressive performance and he was able to play in 29 league game for the team with 2 goals and assists so far. He has spent his last 3 season on loan which has made him emerged as a reliable defender. He also spent the 2019-2021season at Huddersfield and he was able to play 36 games, one goal and one assist for the championship team.

This season the Chelsea Manager Thomas Tuchel has made a decision of not letting him go out on any loan spell despite several interest from team coming for him, he decided to let him stay and fight for his place. Thomas Tuchel decision has really helped Trevor Chalobah and he has emerged as one of the young defender in Chelsea. He has made his place in Chelsea alongside with Antonio Rudiger and Thiago Silva. This season he was first featured for Chelsea in the Uefa Super cup which was his first throphy with Chelsea and his performance made Thomas Tuchel believe that he can do better.

He has played in 6 games for Chelsea in the English Premier league and also appeared in one Uefa Champions league game. No doubt that Chelsea has gotten another player that could take over Antonio Rudiger place since he has refused the offer given to him by Chelsea. Rüdiger could be out of Stamford Bridge this summer on a free transfer and Chelsea already got replacement for him, though there is still talk between Sevilla on Jules Kounde which Chelsea has been chasing since last season and the deal could be finalised if Rudiger leave the team.
