Vento sopra, sol branqueia,
Quieto espero minha cura.

Brota bela, inteira e cheia,
Linda flor de formosura.

Vem de longe e perto está,
Flor de sonhos voadores.

Flor que nasce ao pé do mar
E trás no ar os bons odores,
Das doces cores de maracujá.

Trago n'alma esta cantiga,
Leve, sopra a tal florzinha.

Flor, que dor me causa, amiga,
Não te acho e há pouco a tinha.

Frágeis pétalas desfolham,
Soltas na brisa a vagar.

Pobres palpebras de molham,
No canto do pranto a chorar.
