Na beira do ribeirão,
Onde pé dá de mamão,
Canta solto aquelezinho,
Preto e branco o passarinho.

Na beira do ribeirão,
Onde solta, a água escorre,
Tudo vive porque morre,
Tudo volta sempre ao chão.

Nesta beira o tempo passa,
Jogando ele dá-se a vir.

Tudo que nela se faça,
É poder, querer de existir.
