Snake Orchids and Flying Ducks : My Actifit Report Card: October 20 2021

Forecast was for rain developing in the afternoon. Got moving early to ride down the hill and then back up to walk a track to check on some flying duck orchids.

Down to the water on a stunning day. Views back to up the hill

Those clouds might turn into the storm promised.

This could be the orchid of the day - cryptostylis subulata. Same plant I photographed last week. Another plant budding alongside

Finished the ride up the hill and walked a track at the top of the hill. Kind of hoping to see sun orchids on a sunny day

Did find plenty to enjoy - spider grevillea

High up a tree is one a slightly different colour. This is the best I could do on tip toes. Time to head back still looking for sun orchids
