Weather forecast suggested getting out before the afternoon storms came along.
Early visit from king parrots. This young man is not a gent - so his lady gets her own food supply
My wife was off to visit friends - no space for the unclean. Got to say I am getting hacked off with the man in the street enforcing government policy - especially policy I disagree with. With storms forecast I drove to a local track hoping to find hyacinth orchids seen last year
Location photo - down that track for a while before cutting back onto Darri Track I walked a few days back
Bonnet orchid budding - was orchid of the day for a long while
These are bursting out everywhere

Found the flying duck orchids on the way back - first time on this track and totally consistent with other spots - just dropping off the edge of the escarpment
Caleana major.
Never did find the hyacinth orchids as a big storm came over. Lightning was a bit scary and I was keen to get out from under the trees.
Did a little garden stuff planting out some shrubs
Dinner was bought in by my wife on an Uber Eats voucher. Free and just had to stir fry some rice
