Snake Orchids in a New Location : My Actifit Report Card: November 12 2021
The mornings are not getting any better especially after a late night finishing a video and blog post. At least it stopped raining overnight and I could go for a ride
Day did start with a new orchid opening at home - quite striking in the detail. Went to ride and walk a track walked a few weeks back - hoping to find a hyacinth orchid
Context photo - Berowra Valley NP
Did find a seeded bearded orchid under the powerlines - maybe the orchid of the day
Plenty of these purple flowers about - deep in detail.
A few more bearded orchids in seed. This one had me looking closer
Flannel flowers off a side track goung down to the creek
Flying duck orchid flowering in the same place I saw a few weeks back
Walked further down the track than last time - nice views across to Galston
Some grand old trees growing up around the cliff rocks. Was in my mind that trees were perfect for cymbidium orchids - that kept me dropping down the hill
Saw this plant growing in a tree fork - from above not quite got the pseudobulbs an orchid has. As soon as I got around the front I saw the flowers
Snake orchid - cymbidium suave - first sighting in a new location
Love the photo from below against a now blue sky. This is the orchid of the day - new sighting in a new location
Found a bonnet orchid budding just above the flying duck orchid
Variegated hyacinth orchid budding further up the hill. And right near the top
Bonnet orchid a few days off flowering
This one a week behind the other
Was good to get out on the bike after a few rainy days
Did a little gardening getting ready to mow lawns this weekend.
Dinner: Italian meatballs.
Long phone call after that talking about an investing wealth management idea.
Trade action: Sold UNP options for a good profit. Bought VLX altcoin.
