Fringe Lilies and Hyacinth Orchids Plus : My Actifit Report Card: December 16 2021

Early start to tackle some trade exposures in US markets. Been a while since I was up early for markets - not since the clocks changed. Time to bank some profits.

Planned a shopping trip to include a walk to check on some orchids. First time shopping since lockdown ended - no check ins and masks not required. Staff were not masked but most customers were. I did out of respect.

National Park was more peaceful on the mind. Fringe lilies everywhere was a good start

Lots of these yellow flowers. Flower forms right on the end of a long spiky stem - no leaves on the stem

No luck finding the orchid I was testing for - not even a spike.

Further down the track lots of these buds just forming - grevillea is my guess

Fluffy grass in the light caught my eye

So much to take in for a tired mind. Walked down the other track to see if hyacinth orchids seen last time were open

A few plants open - dipodium variegatum - and lots in bud spread along the track

Bonnet orchids in a new spot

Variegated hyacinth orchid - a splotch of purple and white

Flash of white - nice

Large tongue orchid on the way back nicely backed against a scribble gum tree.

Did some garden stuff in the afternoon. Tidied up some IM stuff too - new sales funnel was not working right. Took some IT sleuth work to fix it

Dinner: Italian meatballs - yum

Trade action: Sold XGDU.MI, AGAP.L, XS7R.IL, AIGG.L, CORN.L, CSGOLD.SW, MSFT, SOYB.L. EL. Bought back naked puts on ADYEN.AS, INDA. Bought ABNB, AMAT.
