New Midge Orchid : My Actifit Report Card: January 12 2022
The grey days are rolling together. It feels like I am back In England though the humidity is a sub-tropical story. I am struggling with my Internet Marketing journey - a lot of work with poor results. I keep changing things up - different landing pages for the latest solo ads. It is rabbit in headlights stuff. My latest promo got little traffic and no sales.
Did get out to ride to look for midge orchids. First spot the wallabies got the plants I saw last time. They did not get these chiloglottis buds
Nice cluster of midge orchids in the longer grass
Corunastylis fimbriata. Lots of these white flowers about the size of a US penny
Promise on the edge of the fire trail - guessing fimbriata
The dark flower spike caught my eye - a different midge orchid
Going to say corunastylis rufa based on location (not woollii)
Another fimbriata popped up in a spot known from last year. I tracked across to edge of burned section hoping to find hunteriana again.
Banksia regrowth
Lots of lobelia- they need smoke to germinate
Maybe oxalis
Back under the powerlines - grevillea
Insect action bottom left
Back through the bush and did find more midge orchids
And some promise
Rainbow lorikeets were active in the banksia - no patience for photos
More pollinator action on midge orchids - see bottom right
Good to get out and ride a.few kms and snag one new orchid for the season
Walked the dog when I got back. We have overlapping dogs as one set of owners got delayed coming home. A bit if a stand off but no fighting
Dinner: Chilli con carne - yum
Trade action: Bought LHA.DE, AF.PA - Europe airlines. Bought ATOM altcoin
