Two Chiloglottis Orchid Types : My Actifit Report Card: January 17 2022
Sun came out for the first time in a while. Going to turn into a steamy day with high humidity. Walked the dog before breakfast. He wanted to explore further than other days - he decides where to go.
Spent the morning finishing off my review blog post - I was of the mind to not doing it. Discipline made me. It is time to change up IM stuff to find a working model. Am not getting the results for the effort
Walked the local track. Found one more common ant orchid in the colony seen last time - chiloglottis seminuda

Decided to walk the full length of the north side track. Found a few hyacinth orchids in new spots

Still a week of these - did find only one plant with buds only
Track side spot for cryptostylis erecta in a new spot
Crossed the creek to revisit a spot we saw this morning with the dog but he was not patient to find orchids. I did find them. Chiloglottis sylvestris - smaller than the seminuda with calli on the lower third of the labellum forming a semi circle
Over the shoulder view. There is a colony on the other side of the track with a few flowers open.
I found these a few months back after the mass slashing on the other side. First time flowering. I took a lot of photos but with low light very few were in focus. Next time.
Dinner: Bbq lamb and chicken. My wife has a friend visiting for a few days.
