Sharp Greenhood Orchids Galore : March 21 2022

Forecast was for a dry day. It did not start that way with more rain. Used the morning to get investing accounting done for Friday expiries and write up the weekly investing post.

Found my new phone has manual focus capability. Tried it out on an orchid flower just opening in the garden

The new phone will not focus any better than that but manual focus did help

Mission today was checking sharp greenhoods progress in Ku-ring Gai Chase NP

Pterostylis acuminata - a few flowers in a known location. 4 known colonies down this way

Made the turn around. I have only ever found the sharp greenhoods on one aide of the track. Found this one on the other side - one of two open with two more buds

And right there was an acianthus orchid budding

Mimosa flower seems either late or early

Walked down the Sphinx walking track hoping to find chiloglottis orchids. No luck.

Nice to get out on the bike even for a short ride.

Dinner: Pizza made from scratch

Trade action: Bought IWM, SWKS. Shorts on QQQ, TLT. A slew of credit spreads.
