More Autumn Reds on First Day of Winter : June 1 2022
Blue sky morning and still a bit windy and temperatures down to just above 10C. The back yard is a forest of branches - swept some of them up. Got distracted into fixing a few websites I have - not making any money but not working. IT geek wanted to get it fixed
Did go walking - autumn has slid into winter becomes the theme for the day
Reds and yellows
Most Aussie bush is evergreen. These are deciduous imports
Looking back to the setting sun
Hawthorn seeded is a happy place for the cockatoos
Some garden flowers to enjoy - not seen these before
Last of the camellias in this tree
Not expecting to find an aloe still flowering
Another newbie for me - a delight in yellow

This season has been confusing for the plants. Mild winter. Hot October. Wet, wet summer with lower temps followed by warm autumn - ginger flower still going at least 6 weeks late
Was a cold walk but the colours made up for it.
