Showgrounds to Wildflower Garden Walk plus a cook up : July 9 2022

Sun came out. Was hard to get moving after a late night watching the end of the Tour season France. I switched to FranceTV coverage as the local coverage is banal. Reminds me of holidays in France watching on local TV.

Surprise for the day is orchid budding at the front door. These normally flower in spring - this tells us about the winter. Mild and heaps of rain.

We went to local markets. I walked back to wildflower garden while my wife did a hardware visit

Did find a few mushrooms - only one for photos

Stopped on the way home for entree course for dinner - prawns. We have friends coming over for dinner. Three courses. Butterflied prawns to start

Middle Eastern chicken was o ne main

Pork ribs prepped the day before was the other main. Lots of veges.

Dessert was a fab gluten free almond orange cake my wife cooked.

Turned into a big day. Plus we have another dog to look after - he is a bit nervous.
