Next Stage Tidy Up After Open House : August 14 2022
The day after open house is the day to tackle the next stage of the property clean up. The blossom from the property made for good staging
The flowers are coming out on the trees that straddle the house. The birds love the trees around the house. I will miss them. We do not have trees like that down south.
The non-stop rain since February has played havoc with the driveway.
Used the ash from the fire as a base. Then added in stone that has caught on the top of the driveway from above. Then laid stone over the top from our driveway to keep the colours consistent. When it dries the ash forms a cement base to hold the stone in place. It worked like that on the edges coming off the road. Looks less muddy now.
Spent a few hours clearing weeds out of the lawn. Wet season has helped the grass get the upper hand. Now to keep it that way.
Struggled to keep awake for the drive home. All those steps doing garden work. Yikes
Dinner: Pizza.
