Windy Day = Walk Local for new Lilies : November 21 2022

Second day of big winds blowing. Not game enough to go for a bike ride in the National Park with the rate branches are falling in the back yard. Caught up with options expiry accounting and writing up most of the week's investing post. Link tomorrow.

Did the next tranche of investing in Australian stocks - nice to do stuff in time zone

Our friends came around lunch time to pick up their dog. We will not be getting a dog for our retirement house. It does not have a free to roam yard. That puts a huge burden on owners to walk the dog every time it needs to pee or poop. I ain't signing up for that.

Did go walking late down to the creek to the South. The strelitzia flower has an important part of my story - it is the flower used as the emblem for my South African army regiment - 6 SA Infantry.

Saw this flower with tassels the other day for first time - sadly got the wrong camera for a photo fully in focus. No idea what it is

Not walked this track for a while. Last time the track through Irish Town Reserve was a bog and the creek was running two foot deep. Not boggy and creek hardly moving now

Yellow fortnight lily growing near that creek.

Sure hope wind eases off to allow some bike riding tomorrow or the day after.
