Was going to be one of those quiet days. Get the investing accounting done and most of the weekly post written. Start getting prepared for a 10 day holiday break at our new house - water gardens, test out automatic watering, plan shopping, clear leftovers, etc

The orchid chose to open today. It is the photo of the day. New openings. I will pack it in the car so we can enjoy it while we are away.

Did go to optician for annual eye check. Parked away from the shopping centre to get the steps in and to avoid the Christmas pressure. That worked well - parked midway between shopping mall and my favourite South African butcher for home delicacies

Dinner: Salt and pepper calamari - wirfryer cheat

Trade action: Sold 7181.T - heaps of covered calls in managed portfolio
