Endangered Midge Orchids - First for 2023 : January 25 2023

I sit here a day later and do not know what I did the day before. Maybe it is all meaningless. What I do know is my wife went into the office - first time this year after our holiday and a case of bronchitis.

I did publish the 2nd investing post after options expiry - the blockchain knows that. Did get out riding to look for an endangered midge orchid

Went to Ku-ring Gai Wildflower Garden - a short ride away. Spied this wasp bouncing around - managed to get it in focus in the top left hand corner of frame

These orange spider wasps hunt down huntsman spiders. I have seen them catch one in my garden. Two photos in focus is a win

The diaphanous wings caught my eye. It is a lacewing - new to me

This was the mission - found one just opening - brittle midge orchid - an endangered species

Rode to shops to get in a few things ahead of the Australia Day holiday. It was busy like the shops would be closed for days. They are not.
