Was turning into a different day. A friend is in hospital and needs help recovering his car. Drove into St Vincent's Hospital in the city. I went walkabout while my wife did the ward walk

As it happens car got towed. They did take it to our friend's street after they called him.
Finished the raking in the yard
Dinner: Chicken and leek potato bake
Make a roux - add garlic, onions, celery
Add some white wine, chicken stock and browned chicken
Layer with parboiled potato slices - alternate layers
Sprinkle top with shredded cheese and paprika - bake 20 minutes
Served with a fine Lakes Folly Chardonnay 2011 - one of the best
