There's been a song buzzing through my head "rainy days and Mondays get me down". It was a morning like that. Sunny for a long while.
Chat with estate agent in the morning about ideas for selling the property for development - got a chance to bring three or four properties together
We went out shopping for the heart of shopping for Mother's Day lunch under a blue sky - snapper and prawns. Was raining when we drove home
Makes for a day at home. Not a probelm as there is a fair bit to do for Mother's Day lunch. A few garden photos - geranium - each with rain drops
Did rake all the leaves in the back lawn just in case we get the chance to sit outside tomorrow - fuschia had pushed a out a few flowers late
These flower all summer - got a few raindrops too. My wife went down to the auction of the house below. $2.2 million tells us the base we should aim for
The orchid had 30 flower spikes flowering all at once - got this from a friend a few years back. Moved it back outside this year - prefers that
Next step for Mother's Day lunch - get pork ribs in sous vide. Remove the membrane. Salt and pepper and a new BBQ rub. Vacuum seal and sous vide at 152F for 18 hours
Dinner: Stir fried rice
Watched some of Giro d'Italia - fell asleep before the end

Ah yes a little rain can make for some good procrastination fuel for me but you got up and got it done.
I am taking my special lady to a brunch buffet and plan on spending the day in the garden finishing up all the prep for planting. Mercifully cooled than yesterday so I should not buyer into flames.
I will flip on @actifit and see how my garden morhersday steps compare to yours!
