Lovely catch up with my family : May 21 2023
Was a windy night as the the cold front swept through. Lots of stuff banging around outside.
Plan was to meet up with my son for lunch to celebrate his partner's birthday. A bit of a shuffle needed as his fish tank sprung a leak - needed to get a replacement and car not big enough for tank and baby and pram.
We met up in the fish tank aisle in the Nowra petshop. Scarlett was all eyes for her gramps
Loaded the fish tank into our car and drove down to their place. It is what dads do. We unloaded and then drove down to Huskisson for lunch - too windy to think about photos
Scarlett was super relaxed. We had a nice lunch and a chat. Special times - only a few hours at a time but it sure is good to have a home not far away
Rained as we drove back. Rained for a bit. Waited till sunset to go walk to get steps up. First photo of Coolangatta Mountain. The fence in the photo is our estate
Walked to the river. Sunset was fiery. Could not get a good vantage point to capture the mountain and the sunset - it is behind those trees
Walked down to the river and back toward the mouth. The photo taken up the river

I was never expecting any grandchildren. She is very special and it is fab to get to see her every two or three weeks
