Packed up to drive back to Sydney. Dropped my wife off in the city for her lunch appointment. Unpacked

Does not take long for the king parrot to work out that we have got home

This is the colour. Did get a short walk late on the local track

Turned into a mushroom walk right from the start

Next step is to check on a wasp orchid seen budding last week. A new one forming

This is the opener from last week. Light was low and photo is not perfect. ID is a challenge mostly because this is flowering a lot later than others on this track

Forest wasp orchid - chiloglottis sylvestris - at least 6 weeks later than the other colony
