A day for helmet and small nodding greenhoods : June 14 2023
The weird dreams keep going - not filled with people from times ago this time. Feeling not the best when moving begins. My wife is still sick - she went out for coffee with friends.
I headed to the bush ahead of a shopping trip. Drove to Terrey Hills side of Ku-ring Gai Chase NP - first orchid up is small nodding greenhood. Pterostlyis hispidula

Close by was the pixie caps orchid. A bit dark for a focused photo but it was the best for today

Stopped to check almost each of the white forms - is there a barbarae here? I think not - the spurs tell me

Found a slice of open ground higher than I have walked before - always good for orchids
Two small nodding greenhoosds in frame - not seen this many here. Nice spot to walk away from the main track
Next year will come back to check on chiloglottis orchids - these seeded
