Tom cats and pixie caps orchids : June 17 2023

The days are sliding by. Spent most of the morning fixing my two cycling websites- one was fixable. Weird as the other was basically the same but it did not fix - had to start over. That became an exploration of ChatGPT tools to write content - next pile of hurdles to be tackled another day

It is a time sink for sure. Did a little garden tidy up

Went walking on down at Bobbin Head to look for autumn orchids - big walk up the hill and down. Tom Cats orchid up high

Found another higher up with better flowers. Not game to get close as the drop off is steep - like 10 metres steep

They have extended the track work lower than last walk. This slice has few orchids - no great losses

This is what bothers me - tree cut down in the middle of the footpath tells me where the track work will go - smashing either side where the orchids grow

Chiloglottis leaves in the danger zone

One more tree chopped down in the middle of the track. This bothers me as this is the richest chiloglottis zone in this NP - 5 varieties known. Nowhere else has a concentration like this

This mushroom has seen better days - interesting in different forms on the staircase of decay.

Dinner: Chicken curry my wife made the dsy before.

Trade action: Adjusted KGX.DE ahead of options expiry. Letting markets run - there will be lots of US stocks assigned and only one in Europe. Timing is perfect- hunker down and hold cash for a bit
