Hanging in for Coolangatta Mountain : June 20 2023

Went to bed early - was a tough night - awake a lot fighting off this cold. Just kept low all day

There is a good news story. When we left 6 weeks ago, I had forgotten to take the orchid with us. It was on the kitchen counter - lots of light and no direct sun. It survived and still has a few buds to open.

Went for a late walk to get some steps in and to get a photo of the mountain. Crossed the creek. It has not rained for a while but this us running hard - at least 6 feet deep and 15 feet across.

Made it through the day - no cooking - no investing - just hanging in

Thanks Joan. It is slow. Playing havoc with sleep. Lack of sleep always slows down recovery. Will have a quiet weekend pottering around at home. Enjoy your weekend.
Have a diving friend who has been posting amazing photos of the sardine run. Looks like a bonanza this year.

First pods of Sardines went through a couple of weeks ago, started early with possibility of larger pods to follow. Awesome photo of them jumping, wonder what is below !LOLZ

Little Sard's have to swim for their lives with some big game fish tailing them, birds above dive bombing, a great show from the beach, better if you out to sea and look toward the land as is the case in photo.
