Back to Darri Track Orchids : June 27 2023
A clear blue sky day. Struggling to keep motivated on down market days and with affiliate marketing effort going nowhere. It is getting time to pull the plug. Did some garden tidy up to start the steps for the day.
Walked down to Darri Track to check on progress of a few orchids in the late afternoon. Acacia flowering on the way down the hill

Spurred helmet orchid on the way in to my favourite spot - corybas aconitiflorus
A few more nodding greenhoods open
Pterostylis nutans
4 in frame. Next photo is a challenge - low light for a tiny pixie caps orchids
Acianthus fornicatus. Walked higher up the hill for a wider search - found a cluster of cobra greenhoods up there

Found one with a cross section open - a bug has eaten its way in or out
Spurred helmet orchid ending its path
And another cross section
This budding orchid is still not ready - been a few weeks
A few nodding greenhoods down below
One mushroom on the way back up the hill. The season is coming to an end for those.
