Spring flowers for an enforced at home day : October 4 2023
The smashed toe from the day before and a wife with a broken wrist turned the day into an at home day. My sleep was a struggle - luckily it was warm enough to forgo the weight of a duvet on a sore toe.
What to do on at home day? Take photos - gardenia pushing out its second flower. Last one was white - this one cream
Gazanias are out - yellow
The orange has had a few weeks off and out comes the first new bud
Maybe my favourite - a few times like a sunrise
My wife moved a few of these into a pot on the front porch for the house sale. They have done well - the total hoot is they have all leaned toward the light
One pot of bromfelsia - yesterday, today and tomorrow is pushing out lots of flowers. It is the one best placed for light
One of the pink rock orchids popped out flowers late - dendrobium kingianum
Where did the steps come from? Filled our greens bin with debris from the neighbours place. They cut the bush away that was blocking the bike path - I did the tidy up of the dead leaves
