Onion orchids on Lovers Jump Creek : October 19 2023

Started out a slow day. Knew we were to drive my wife's sister to the airport. That time came around before I could get fired up to ride or walk. Was a slow drive to pick her up and drop at airport - more than two hours drive time. Went walking when we got back home - no ride today

Lots of dyanella flowering

Bonnet orchid budding

A bigger cluster further along - 4 plants

Native violet - not in Seven Mile Beach for a change

First trigger flower open for a while

Goodenia flower down low

Lovers Jump Creek showing a few reflections

This is the last surviving tongue orchid on the south side - hanging in on the rock face. Somehow there is a bud even though all the tubers are exposed

One more bud showing. A bit if sun damage on a few leaves

This one further up the track is in better shape - taller by a mile

Bearded orchid closed up below the track - new location

Onion orchids on the top track - makes the flowering orchid of the day

Not often does one get a chance to get an Eastern Whip Bird in phone photo frame - flash of white on its head

Did some garden tidy up - maybe half an hour

Went out to meet friends to celebrate my wife's birthday and our anniversary a few weeks late. Went to the pub that will be walking distance of our new apartment. Was good to get out - not done that a lot in the last 3 years

Stayed away from markets with Jerome Powell rattling nervous sentiment even more
