At home - hours on the phone - steps done : November 15 2023

Getting down to the last days ahead of the move. Been mulling through my head how to make things work - got a garage to clear and a trip down south to move a trailer of stuff - and leave the trailer out of the way. Keep finding reasons not to tackle hard stuff

So those are the escape photos. Was a frustrating day on the phone - about an hour setting up a transfer for the mortgage settlement. Banks have gone crazy on protecting us from scams - never mind doing transactions between husband and wife. Not hard to check those. A few hours later my wife tells me she gave the wrong account number. Good news - transaction is in pending. Another 45 minutes on the phone to get that cancelled. As it happens the transfer would have failed as the number error was in the last digit - the check digit. She found another way to transfer the funds inside her own bank.

My credit card company froze my card account a few days ago. Payment at my autoresponder was bounced - the heart of my affiliate marketing business just got shut down. And they would not accept my alternate credit card - 45 minutes on the phone to address that. At least I now have a download of all my list members. Still got to fix the payment. The scammers are making this stuff really hard.

Landed up a late night which was not the plan.

Dinner: Thai yellow chicken curry.
