Second last day pre-move - Jacaranda time : November 18 2023
Not going to be a photo journey today second last day of move preparation. We headed out early to check the new apartment - get a feel of the place, check the garage, found some storage locker space that us not being used
Stopped at local coffee shop to buy coffees before we met - it is jacaranda season
My day got occupied driving stuff down to storage - boxes, tools and a few paintings - one painting of Zulu dancers keeping guard - made 3 trips in all.
Still has a path way open - was hoping to keep one open to make it easier to collect stuff to move it out later
Did not work out that way - there is still room to go higher but the floor plan is full. Two things went right - 1. deciding to do this rather than drive stuff down 170 kms south and back in a day. 2. Choosing a bigger unit - bought good breathing space for time and space
Cooked the last dinner - pizza prepped to cook on bbq outside
The end product - been a huge week. And still got one day to go plus.move day.
