Rainy Days and Lamb Stew : May 11 2024
The rain started about the time I went to bed after US markets opened. Rained really hard all night. Not a lot of change during the day.
Started on implementing some new stuff from my friend Kevin Fahey - Affiliate Takeover. Been a follower and customer for ages. Just know that his stuff does work. His new training includes segments on creating bonuses. He uses his favourite tools and they seem so simple. Tried them in completing a tool that I have bought before - hard work. Not the 15 minutes promise
Eats up a rainy afternoon pronto - did need to plan dinner with some diced lamb sold at a discount. Google got me a Moroccan recipe - needed a few bits from the store - steps came from the walk there

Did pick a less wet cycle in the rain to do the walk - can even see the top of Coolangatta Mountain on the way back. Not seen that for days
The minion postbox knows - do not go out without the wellies - been like that for 10 days - the weather that is

Watched some footy. My teams won
Bet on a few horse races from Morphettville, Adelaide including their big feature race, The Goodwood. Betting on Jamie Kah worked on a few - she is Melbourne's best jockey. Place bet on an outsider worked too. $4.60 for a place
Made maybe 50 cents all afternoon.
Got cooking early
Had bought some chopped up lamb the other day. Felt like a good time to make a one pot oven cooked special.
Brown the meat - soften the veges - add a little white wine and stock and tomato passata. Add the meat back and bake for 45 minutes at 180C
Pop in quarterd potatoes and beans and mushrooms for the last 45 minutes.
Worked out yum - 3 big mistakes need fixing tomorrow - too much galrlic, too much cayenne, too much dried lemon..
Can fix that for tomorrow - add some rice, add something sweet, add some water - reheat in a pot
Flashed by a few sports channels - this one caught my eye. Super Rugby - NSW vs ACT - played in a foot of water. Wow to that big rain. Made my idea to stay here look smart.
