Richmond Park Gordon mushrooms : May 20 2025

Another grey rainy day - getting to me. Plenty to keep busy with at home - Internet Marketing and investing stuff. Did get out walking - hoping for a no umbrella walk. Walked to Richmond Park the opposite direction to normal

Mushroom in the local park - about saucer size

One turned on its side - shows the underside vanes

Love the two tone camellias - delightful touch of pink

Brush turkey just as I got into the park - it would not pose

A waterfall of mushrooms - quite small

Lobelia - just a few flowering deep in the rainforest

Bonnet orchid leaves. This piece of rainforest should have autumn greenhoods. None. Found only one set of acianthus leaves

Perfectly posed - mushroom twins under a log

Some like to grow out of the tree trunks

An orange version - something has been chomping the tops out

Growing out of the track - back mushroom is in focus

First look seems they are brown - photo shows the true colour

About the size of a US quarter

Creek is tumbling and showing the local ferns

Wonder how many of these mushrooms are edible?

Always like the walk down this street (normally walk up it). Close to the bush with no through traffic - autumn colours

New for sale sign - a renovated house

The form of the old house had been retained but all the materials and colours are modern

Back to mushrooms on the same verge - probably the same type as the first one in the series

More white mushroom action. Got the steps in - got the mushrooms - only orchid leaves - and I stayed dry

Dinner was a toasted sandwich event. My wife is still sick and I had a good leftover lunch.

Late night writing a review and doing some trades. Review will go out tomorrow before product lunch ends
