Federation cottages in Berry : June 18 2025

Was hoping to get out for a bike ride and a walk. Got the dog walk done a little earlier than prior days. Got home and there was loud music playing. Our neighbour likes to sit in their car port which is on the same side as our living space and playing their stuff on radio and phone calls on speaker phone. Drives me and my wife nuts.

Took the dog and got in the car to drove up to Berry to get away from the noise and have lunch. Stopped in one of the pubs - sat outside - dog friendly. We learned that dogs can go inside too

Interesting distance markers - quite a few places I have worked in - London, Paris, Amsterdam, Athens, Barcelona, Sydney. What was interesting was the signage included dates on the cities that have held the Olympics

Lunch was simple and good. I took the dog up the street behind for a walk while my wife cruised the shops - for sale sign on an old Albert St cottage

The cottage is very tidy

As are the others in the street

Four or five in a row

Always something of interest in Berry - better on a week day

Stopped at Two Figs Winery on the way back to buy wine. Chose not to taste

Always great views over the Shoalhaven River

Turned into a good break away from the goldfish bowl.

As we had lunch - jazzed up some left overs.

This is very wrong. We should take care of each other, respect each other, and it is a fact that there are elders in every home, some of whom may have heart disease, so we should not play the sound so loudly.

We live in a side by side community. The new people come in from bigger places with neighbours further away. They do not know or care
