Rainy day raindrops Gordon walk : August 18 2025

Forecast was for heaps of rain - did nit start out that way. Sunny while I waited for the cleaners. Got out when they left umbrella in hand to walk down to the bush. Rain started to pelt down

The lily flowering gives a theme for the walk - walk the streets with water pouring down the gutters

Pink camellia and rain drops

Good light for the stained glass window on the church entry way and a dove hiding away from the rain

Well top in the church grounds - can't say I have noticed it before but it does fit the damp theme

Double camellia and rain drops - like a ladies tresses

A pot of tulips - spring sign

Back to the raindrops - maybe even a reflection

A burst of white - like a bridal veil

A bit of old style cottage - been rendered and painted

Single camellia - a bit hooded

Back to the raindrops - golf course closed

Got the steps done - was freezing when I got home. Gloves next time

Cooked dinner for a friend - simple BBQ stuff. Body feeling it is getting ahead of the lurking cold. My wife is still working through hers - hoping

It rained in our city today too and the weather was much more pleasant. The flowers and plants looked much more beautiful. It is most important for us, the people, to protect ourselves. When we are doing any work in life, gloves keep our hands safe.
