Frustrate the delivery delays away - watch cricket till delivery arrives - then walk : November 21 2025

Another shocking night coughing away. The phlegm is still holding sway. Saw a clip on Telegram of a lady talking about Golden Seal to help with mucus. Well the plan for the day was to get down to shops to buy some. Myblast doctor had me using it whenever I got a cold and fever

Had to wait for a delivery scheduled between 2 and 4. That had me sitting and waiting - spent the wait watching the first day of England vs Australia at cricket starting at 1. Cannot say it looked like a good England start - bundled out for 172. Then Australia at bat - photo of a new Oz player - he did not last long. Well the delivery was over an hour delayed - England were all out in that time. Could only get out walking after 5:30 pm - been a hugely frustrating week for deliveries a day this one worse than all the others

Went walking a big loop to shops for a few things and - photo down the hill. Cannot see the big buildings below and the mountains behind - so much rain

Jacarandas and raindrops - above and below. Those petals become super slippery when they get wet

Especially on a bit of a downslope - dies nit take a lot of rain to shake the flowers down

Got the shopping done - was a damp umbrella walk and body was dripping when I got to shops and onto home

The delivery - TwoBays gluten free beer. I bought shares a few weeks back - can buy at a discount as a shareholder. Why buy? Two Bays Consulting is the name of my business - since 2001.

Cricket update - England rolled most of the Australia batting - one man left standing

Did cook dinner - a frypan pork chop plus salad plus potato. First meal I have had appetite for in a week.

Jacarandas must remind you of years living in SA

Bad chest/mucus look to see if Borsdruppels (Lennon's) are available in Australia, mix half honey, half lemon with drops in a small glass with covering to sip from when necessary.

Hi Joan - did try to the old mum recipe - honey and lemon and tea. Helps but does not fix. Will post the magic potions tomorrow - all natural - once I got them lined up - it worked. Thanks for the beer

If you drink ginger (which I don't), buy fresh roots boil them into a tea drink as strong as able to stomach that clears you pretty quickly as well, my son's go to! Take care a feel better soon.

Sounds like a tough day with the delivery delays and dealing with a cough. Glad you finally finished your shopping and got to enjoy a good meal. Hope you’re feeling better now.

Thanks. have turned the corner. The delivery cost me two days - within 6 hours of taking the first dose I could feel the change. Good news is I have found a store that sells what I need locally - next time will be a 30 minute delay max.

Jacaranda - originally from South America - loves growing in the sub tropics. My birth town, Pretoria is known as Jacaranda City. Grafton NSW is the Australian version. The flowers this season have been just amazing.

For those of us at school or University in Pretoria at exam time. A petal lands on the head = good luck for the exams. Many study under the trees
