Did enjoy a night sleep without being woken up with noise from the apartment above. Sure looking forward to living in one place. Did the drive into Nowra to do a few chores - like buying prawns for dinner
Stopped at Two Figs Winery to pick up the quarterly wine pack. Decided to have an ad hoc wine tasting and to taste the new gin. Framed photo does not capture how strong the wind was
The palm outside cellar door has produced a fruit
View down across Shoalhaven River - wind has eased off. No excuse when I got home - get on the bike
New signage on South Beach Access road- no camping or sleeping in vehicles - about time. Next step is to lock the gate at sunset. Not hard to automate with solar and a battery
Was very windy - did find dipodium variegatum flowering - a bit windy for good photos
Flowers unfolding - spots clear on the pedicels - the bit that attaches stalk to flower
This caterpillar has chomped though an orchid spike - chose not to relocate it - damage is done. Best leave it here

New signage deep in the NP. The track is 2 kms into the National Park - everyone knows no dogs allowed. Yet there are signs like this - have sure seen dogs in the cars. People do not give a shit
Echidna walked right up close - was not fussed about me. They normally crouch down
Big wind has dropped off - calm view looking north to Gerroa
And south to Shoalhaven Heads and beyond
Sure pleased I put the wind away and went riding
Cooked dinner for friends - roast chicken, butterflied prawns - potatoes and some veges. Nice dinner sitting outside on a fab evening
