At home grandkid sitting day and a late Gordon walk : December 9 2025

An early start as my wife headed out early to pick up grandson. He has just come out of hospital after some surgery. Not quite the happy chap we are used to having around. Became quite clear he was anti man. No surprise and all the doctors were men. I let him be and hid away in my study. Enough of being told to go away

I went for my walk in a big loop to shops when he went - photos are a challenge - wrong phone. Tiny rose from our garden

House sold opposite the golf club. Property is quite big as its address is in the street behind and not on the street I took the photo from. Could be an interesting development chance with two street access

Got the shopping done. Got the steps in

We live in an apartment block. Someone is moving out and has dumped stuff on the kerb without booking a clean up. We did some work to get bookings in and to move stuff. We did gain this day bed for the courtyard and the big pot plant behind. Makes the space look better. Thanks John from down the road who helped me move stuff.

Fab sunset. The phone struggles with these - needed to go manual - jam up the speed. Do manual focus - house is in focus but speed too low to get the sun right

These little moments throughout the day really warm the heart. Taking care of my grandson along with gardening and household chores makes you feel how full and love-filled the day was.
