Cool day walking a few Killara streets : January 11 2026

The hot weather broke from 42C to 21C as the southerly change marched in. Made for a grey day perfect for catching up on the walk through I promised for the Quick Start Funnel Guide launch - took me a lot longer than the sales page suggested. That was the mistake as the dry morning turned into a wet afternoon

Umbrella walk time - peonies in the local park. One kid playing - none yesterday at 42C

Do not often do selfies - umbrella - grey sky - 21C

Never noticed this grand old house across the lines from Killara Station

Might look to play tennis here - a short walk from home

Bolwing club next door for when tennis gets too hard - same clubhouse

Walked into church grounds to get this shot

And white on the other side of the road. There were 4 or 5 trees here and the smell was intoxicating

Walked the cross street - a few photos of the grand old houses. This is what they used to do if they wanted to go up a level. Out in a dormer extension with shape fitting the original house

And next door they did this - out of keeping with the house and the street

True dormer across the street. The street is heritage listed so we can be sure there will be no apartments but we will have anomalies

Not quite an anomaly but this house at the end of the street is now for lease. All they have done is paint the red brick white and mow the lawn. It is a good spot close to schools and walking distance from Killara Station

The umbrella was used. The head was cleared a bit.

Did cook dinner - a mix and match on the BBQ. Sorry no photos
