A Chatswood wander ahead of the rain : February 7 2026

Was a late night and and early watch the markets session. Chose not to do much in ugly markets. Has been a tough week in a week markets were only mildly unhappy. Best to do is focus on other things and walk stuff away

A model is to walk to the local station and catch a train going somewhere. This plan was more precise - head south to Chatswood and check out a seafood shop I saw last time. View of the old station building from above

Chatswood was busy - no photos of the street markets now running a few days of the week. This store front caught my eye - Sydney equivalent of Robinhood perhaps. Seems amazing than an online business looks to a retail presence. Might have to look it up. The words in the window suggest something more than Robinhood. Wonder how long it will last

Did the shopping. Got out a station earlier than normal. Have photographed the front of this Killara house a lot but never from an empty car park on the side

The clouds tell a story of the breaking weather - 31C - clouds and maybe a storm. Well the storm did not come but it did cool a bit

Did get a few shopping items done. Bought some prawns for my dinner - had an urge. Butterflied them and BBQed with lemon butter and peri-peri
