Garuda di Dadaku is a film by a nation that tells the story of an elementary school child who has a big dream with "Indonesian national team". Bayu was very talented in the field of football which was sent down by his biological father, however, the 'big dream' of bayu was told by his own grandfather because his grandfather wanted his grandson more towards artists and did not want to deal with football because of the trauma that happened to father bayu because he suffered a serious injury when he became a footballer.

But Pak Usman, Bayu's grandfather, strongly opposed Bayu's dream because for him to be a soccer player it was synonymous with living poor and having no future.

Have a friend named Heri. Heri is a rich kid who is fond of football but unfortunately he cannot play football because he is a disabled person and has to sit in a wheelchair.

However, thanks to Heri, Bayu has the greatest support in achieving his dreams and his big dream with the support of his best friend, Bayu has never given up to reach his dream of becoming a soccer player.

Assisted by a new friend named mysterious Zahra, Bayu and Heri had to look for various reasons for the Grandfather, so that Bayu could continue to practice soccer.

But obstacles after obstacles continued to block Bayu's dream, and even the friendship of the three children threatened to break up. This conflict is neatly packaged by the author by instilling the values ​​of education, the spirit of life and friendship that is intimately intertwined among children of different social classes.

Bayu faced the grandfather's big ambitions and had to be a submissive child, and struggled in the arts. But behind that, he actually did a rebellion because he had bigger dreams and ambitions to become a soccer player. And in the end this strong Bayu dream ends in happiness. Through hard work and support from friends who facilitate all the needs of Bayu to achieve their dreams.
