My Actifit Report Card: October 18 2021

Incessant torrential rains and strong winds for the last two days have thrown life out of gear. These cyclonic storms have caused the most damage to the farmers whose paddy crop was almost ready. The paddy crop was in a position to be harvested in the next one week, but this sudden heavy rain and gusts of wind dashed their hopes. The way the rain is still going on, the water of the fields is not going to dry up for the next two days. If there is no water for 2 days then this crop will rot completely. It is definitely a double blow for the farmers as the sugarcane crop has also been completely destroyed due to strong wind. Due to the fall of sugarcane crop, its weight is reduced. Surely this year has turned out to be a curse for all. The changing nature of nature has stunned everyone. It has been raining heavily since yesterday morning with strong winds which continued till this evening. Meteorologists believe that similar weather will prevail for the next two days. The coming month November is the month of festivals, before that this tragedy is painful for all.

This is the field of paddy crops which is lay down due to heavy rainfall and wind. It is just beside of my office. I was feeling very bad to see such scene. We are helpless in front of natural disaster.

Now finishing my activities with 7k steps that I get by walking and moving around the office. It is market day also here but due to heavy rainfall I fail to go there. I do not want to wet unnecessarily. That is why I decided to stay at room.. Yet I managed to take my score over 7k steps.
