Saludos amigos de Hive, esta es primera participación en esta comunidad @campingclubhive, en donde les voy a contar mi experiencia en los entrenamientos de montaña, en una publicación anterior les había mencionado que voy a participar próximamente en el mes de octubre en la Caminata de Montaña El Peñón, en San Francisco de Asís, estado Aragua, Venezuela, por eso me traslade a esta comunidad para entrenar en esta montaña, fue una experiencia excelente donde compartir con mi familia, este entrenamiento de montaña.

Greetings Hive friends, this is the first participation in this community @campingclubhive, where I am going to tell you about my experience in mountain training, in a previous publication I had mentioned that I am going to participate soon in the month of October in the Mountain Walk. Peñón, in San Francisco de Asís, Aragua state, Venezuela, that is why I moved to this community to train on this mountain, it was an excellent experience where I could share this mountain training with my family.

Les cuento que yo había pensado entrenar el día miércoles en la mañana, pero después decidí cambiar la hora para la tarde del día martes, salimos todos juntos con mi hermano morocho a las 4:00 pm. El sol estuvo bastante fuerte, pero tomamos otra ruta que presenta menos inclinaciones fuertes tomando en cuenta que subimos con los niños y mi esposa para no forzarlos mucho ya que no tienen muchas condiciones físicas.

I tell you that I had planned to train on Wednesday morning, but then I decided to change the time for Tuesday afternoon, we all went out together with my dark brother at 4:00 pm. The sun was quite strong, but we took another route that has less steep inclines taking into account that we climbed with the children and my wife so as not to force them too much since they do not have many physical conditions.

Mi hijo y mi sobrino increíblemente se mantuvieron adelante del recorrido junto con mi hermano, en esta parte de la montaña se puede ver la belleza natural cubierta de bastante monte verde pero visualizando el camino despejado durante todo el recorrido. Esta montaña se llama El Peñón, anteriormente este lugar era una cantera donde sacaba piedra y arena para la venta de la construcción, y constantemente subían camiones de carga para trasladar la arena y piedra a otros lugares de las personas que compraban el material de construcción.

My son and my nephew incredibly stayed ahead of the route together with my brother, in this part of the mountain you can see the natural beauty covered with a lot of green forest but visualizing the clear path during the whole route. This mountain is called El Peñón, previously this place was a quarry where they extracted stone and sand for the sale of construction, and cargo trucks were constantly going up to transport the sand and stone to other places of the people who bought the construction material.

Con el tiempo esta cantera cerró sus puertas, me imagino que se agotó el recurso y no siguieron explotando este recurso natural. Este espacio natural se convirtió en un lugar para realizar entrenamiento de montaña, muchas personas pude apreciar que suben a realizar ejercicios para mantenerse en buenas condiciones física y de salud.

Over time this quarry closed its doors, I imagine that the resource was exhausted and they did not continue to exploit this natural resource. This natural space became a place for mountain training, many people could appreciate that they go up to do exercises to stay in good physical condition and health.

El recorrido que hicimos en esta oportunidad es bastante variado, en donde hay varias subidas, bajadas, que permite al atleta recuperarse después del esfuerzo realizado en las pendientes. Al llegar a la cima podemos tenemos una vista majestuosa, donde se ve el Lago de Valencia, también algunos edificios de Maracay.

The route we did on this occasion is quite varied, where there are several ascents, descents, which allows the athlete to recover after the effort made on the slopes. Upon reaching the top we can have a majestic view, where you can see the Lake of Valencia, also some buildings of Maracay.

En este tipo de entrenamiento como siempre no debe faltar la hidratación, por eso yo llevo un bolso donde tengo un pote de agua para beber el agua, en este caso lleve varios para que los niños pudieran tomar un poco de agua.

In this type of training, as always, hydration should not be lacking, so I carry a bag where I have a pot of water to drink the water, in this case I carry several so that the children can drink a little water.

Otra de las vista que se ve completamente es la localidad de San Francisco de Asís, como es bastante alto el pueblo se ve como un pequeño mapa en forma de garabato, por eso uno de los nombre de esta localidad fue Garabato. También podemos apreciar la frondosidad de la siembra de caña de azúcar que comienza desde este pueblo hasta la localidad de Tocorón.

Another view that can be seen completely is the town of San Francisco de Asís, as the town is quite high up, it looks like a small map in the form of a scribble, that is why one of the names of this town was Garabato. We can also appreciate the lushness of the sugarcane planting that begins from this town to the town of Tocorón.

Después de llegar a esta parte alta comenzamos a bajar por una carretera de asfalto que ahora está bastante deteriorada por el tiempo. En este entrenamiento en el recorrido pudimos conseguir matas de guayaba que son comunes en esta montaña, pudimos disfrutar de esta rica guayaba con gran cantidad de vitamina C.

After reaching this high part, we begin to go down an asphalt road that is now quite deteriorated by time. In this training on the tour we were able to get guava bushes that are common in this mountain, we were able to enjoy this rich guava with a large amount of vitamin C.
