My Son's Foundation team participating in the Futsal Quarterfinals

Greetings friends from Hive and from the @sportstalk community, today I am going to tell you how The Foundation futsal team fared, where my son was a participant in the quarterfinals in the tournament organized by The Foundation of the child, in Villa de Cura, Aragua state, Venezuela.

It turns out that in the Under 12 category, they qualified for this match in the quarterfinals, and the game was scheduled for two weeks, but it was suspended, to take place on Sunday, May 21, where this was the final one if the team lost, would be eliminated from the tournament. This game had been planned for 3:00 pm in the afternoon, where he would face Fama's team.

We arrived at 3:00 in the afternoon at the headquarters of The Foundation
Niño, and the games were about to be canceled again due to heavy rains, however they did not continue and the games were carried out. As for the Under 10 category of The Foundation, he played with the Fama team where he beat The Foundation 1 x 0, qualifying this category directly to the semifinal.

Regarding the Under 12 category, they fell in the position table to fourth place, because in the last game they lost against the Guerreros team, due to this they went to the quarterfinals where they would face Fama, the game began at 5:00 pm with two hours of delay, in the first half the Fama team demonstrated a wide dominance against The Foundation, in the first minutes due to a defense error, Fama scored his first goal.

It should be noted that The Foundation team had to make a great effort to win, because otherwise they would be eliminated from the match, The Foundation players were a bit nervous because the Fama team played very fast, then the coach made a change from another defense and again made another mistake, taking advantage of the opposing team to score the second goal, ending this first half 2-0, winning the Fama team.

From the stands was my wife, with my daughter and I, supporting The Foundation team, so that they would cheer up and react to this team, in the second half my son came on to play, but the players could not reach the goal to score the desired goal, however they managed to score the first goal, we cheered up a bit, but there was little time left to be able to score the goals.

In an oversight of the defense again, when making a pass to one of the forwards of The Foundation team, the pass was very slow and the Fama team, once again took advantage of this mistake and scored the third goal, now we were 3 x 1, and the advantage increased much more. The Foundation team continued to fight against the Fama team, but they couldn't even score a second goal, losing this game 4-1, the Fama team winning and The Foundation team being eliminated from the tournament.

Despite the fact that The Foundation team was eliminated, the coach told them that they played well, that they had to continue working to improve and that soon they will be participating in another tournament outside the municipality.

To conclude, I consider this to be a great experience for my son and the entire The Foundation team, where they managed to reach the quarterfinals, but could not continue advancing, these are the things that can happen to be able to win and lose, and In this way they learn from those experiences. New challenges will come, see you in a next publication.
