My Weekend Experience in Two Games with my Son

Greetings friend Hive and from the community of @WEEKEND EXPERIENCES, next I am going to tell you about my experience on Sunday and part of Saturday with the activities to accompany my son in his sport.

I tell you that on weekends I have been quite busy supporting my son in the preparation games for a futsal tournament whose inauguration is scheduled for February 11 at the Fundación del Niño in the community of Villa de Cura, Aragua state. , Venezuela That is why the coach has been planning different meetings in various sectors of the community.

These are called preparation games, which allow athletes to put into practice everything they have learned in training, and thus be able to visualize the physical conditions of each of the players. My son is 9 years old, he is in the sub 12 category, whose ages are between 9 and 11 years old.

Every time the weekend comes, I say let's rest, but it's not my turn to continue supporting my son in this sport, since these preparation games, which are important for the children's training and improving skills on the court and it is there where the coach observes the qualities that each athlete has to later define the game strategies when the tournament begins.

In the games on Saturday, we went to the community of Carrizalito, where the Carrizalito team was waiting for us. They were going to face each other in the Sub 10 and Sub 12 categories. One of the surprises there was that three of the children who belonged to our La Fundación team, their parents had withdrawn them, and now they would be playing for the Carrizalito team, this caused one of the girls a bit of sadness because she did not want to play against La Fundación.

One of the things I don't like about this field is that it doesn't have the stands for us parents and representatives to sit down, to watch the game comfortably, and it allows me to take good pictures. As for the friendly match, in the first game the children did not do very well, since they lost 3-2. Then it was the turn of the Under 12 category, where my son is, the game was quite even, they were tied, and they went to penalties, and there the players who kicked hard failed to score the goals for the win, losing 3-0.

Now Sunday arrived, we moved to the soccer field, which is located behind the Alberto Smith high school, in the La Represa sector, the bad thing about this meeting is that the stands are too high and we are a bit far from the children. Another thing is that the game is held outdoors with the inclemencies of the sun.

It should be noted that in this match our team from La Fundación was going to face Los Bravos, who have been players who are trained in field soccer, unlike our team, which is not adapted to this type of ground field. Despite all this, it was a big surprise, the Under 10s played very well, being tied, to later be defined with penalties where they managed to win 2 x 1 in the Under 12 category, they were 3 x 1.

I was really impressed by the results obtained, in the games, we are very happy that our children have won this preparation game with a view to the tournament.
