Greetings friends of Hive, today I am going to share with you a new mountain hiking training that I did today Wednesday in the Mata Redonda hill, in the community of San Francisco de Asis, Zamora municipality, Aragua state.

I had more than six months that I did not climb this mountain, because I always train is for the hill El Peñon with my brother Francisco, but then I told him that I wanted to climb again, I left very early and we left at 6:15 am towards this mountain. On the way we got a cow that was eating grass, taking advantage that in these days it rained a little and the greenness of the mountain recovered.

In this training we do a 1 km route on asphalt road and then we began to enter the mountain, with a small climb, this time my partner who always accompanies me on all this route my pet Negrito did not come with me, but my brother Francisco who is always ready for these hiking training, although the day before had made a 12 km hike.

This mountain reminds me of when I was starting the sport of marathon running, and some people in the community said it was impossible to jog up this hill, but once I made up my mind that I was going to make it with training, I was really able to accomplish this goal, which was a great achievement. That is why when practicing a sport we should not put obstacles in what we really want, with effort, perseverance, and dedication we can get what we want.

In these trekking trainings here in the community, there are very few people who go up the mountain, my brother tells me that only he and a friend occasionally go up, but in the mountains of Villa de Cura I see that people are more motivated because there are more hikers. This route of this hill I call it Mata Redonda because at the end of this route there is a climb of more than 1 km and at the top there was a Cujie tree, but now it is dry and now there is no such tree in the center of the mountain.

We climbed at a good pace of training that did not allow us to talk a little, and take some pictures of these beautiful landscapes, which with the rain have recovered a little, when we were on the third climb we met a friend who was coming down the mountain, but we noticed that he had not reached the end of the hill.

From the top of this mountain you can see the Lake of Valencia, and also the electric station La Horqueta, which are on the road to Villa de Cura, when I checked my stopwatch I had a time of 39 minutes and 13 seconds, here we hydrated a little and my brother gave me a Mango to eat it, this type of fruit is excellent because it has a lot of vitamins.
